I have been an avid reader since elementary school--originally science fiction, but now mostly mysteries and misc. other stuff. I am a semi-retired physician (Obstetrics and Gynecology), married for 40 years with three grown children. I am a collector of "meaningless trivia" and fascinated by obscure facts. I used to be a stamp collector and have lots of unused stamps that aren't worth much so I have been using them for postage--you may get interesting ones on book shipments. For about the past year I have been selling stuff on Ebay (I originally had thousands of 50's era SF paperbacks), and one of my customers sent me to PBS. I have enjoyed it as a way to get rid of the books that I have read and can't or don't want to sell and get new ones without paying the full prices. When I was originally buying paperbacks, they were priced at 25 and 35 cents!!
